According to a report made in 2013, "there were 3.5 million employed nurses in 2011, about 3.2 million of whom were female and 330,000 male." That's about 10% of the workforce and significant jump from 3% of 70s and 80s.
However, if you, a male nurse, walk into a local uniform store, male scrub section is very limited and does not reflect the current reality - men's section space is usually less than 10% of the total store space.
To make up this lack of representation, some local stores have been selling women's scrub pants as either unisex or men's. This strategy worked for men who are under 5'7" and preferred a tight fit of the pants.
Come visit our store in Anaheim and Los Angeles. You will find a wide selection of men's scrub tops and pants.
Unfortunately, we don't stock men's tall scrub pants.
